Unconventional Tables

Eligibility

Students enrolled in various educational institutions in Japan and abroad who are 30 years of age or younger as of March 31, 2022 are eligible to participate

Awards and prizes

Kengo Kuma Award (Grand prize, 1 entry): 500,000 yen

Excellence Award (3 entries): 100,000 yen

Honorable mentions (6 entries)

Submission

1 A3 size sheet (single-sided, landscape orientation)

※A 1/5 size model will be required for the final round of judging

Schedule (tentative)

October 1st, 2021: Pre-registration opens

February 28th, 2022: Pre-registration deadline

March 31st, 2022: Submission period ends

Mid-May 2022: Selection of works advancing to the final judging

June 26th, 2022: Final judging and awards ceremony

※The final judging will be held in Higashikawa. We will invite the 10 finalists to Higashikawa.
※The dates and format of the final judging and awards ceremony are subject to change due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection and other factors.
