Due to the spread of COVID-19, Hokkaido is currently in a very difficult situation as the state of emergency was extended. For this reason, we regretfully have to announce that we have decided to change the final judging and award ceremony scheduled for June 26th.

The winners of each prize will be decided by an online judging meeting between only the judges, and the results will be announced on the the “Kengo Kuma & Higashikawa” KAGU Design Competition official website. The award ceremony and the panel discussion will be postponed to Monday September 20th, 2021 (National holiday in Japan). It will be held in Higashikawa Town, unfortunately, we will only be able to invite the domestic winners and judges.
