Application Theme

Healthy Furniture

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in an educational institution at the time of submission and be 30 or younger. Group entries are allowed if all members meet this requirement.

Awards and prizes

Grand Prize (Kengo Kuma & Higashikawa Award)
– 1 entry: ¥500,000 cash prize / Rights for commercialization
Second Prize (SOLIZE Award)
– 1 entry: ¥200,000 cash prize
Excellence Award
– 2 entries: ¥100,000 cash prize (each)
Honorable Mention
– 6 entries: No cash prize
【Special Award】Higashikawa Woodworking Association Award
– 1 entry from the above award winners: Rights for commercialization

Submission Requirements

One A3-size sheet (single-sided, landscape).

A 1/5–1/1 scale model will be required for the final judging.
Please refer to the guidelines for details.

Tentative Schedule

December 1, 2025: Application opens
January 14, 2026: Submission deadline
March 22, 2026: Final judging & award ceremony (held in Higashikawa)

Finalists will be invited to Higashikawa for the final judging.
